The girl who silenced the world for 5 minutes
I don't know if this has been seen by anyone here on the Rave or what publicity it had because I have never seen it until today...and I sure I would remember seeing it.
The thing is we all fail to listen and we are still failing and will carry on failing after watching the video.
So how many children will it take, to tell us adults, that we need to listen and not to fail!!
3 years on and nothing has changed!

Actually this was done in the Summit of 1992 not 3 years ago as I first thought.
It still doesn't change anything because it's still the same, we still have war, famine, destruction, greed..ect

I don't actually think that half the people who saw or listened to it has done anything about what she had to say at all, because we are still in that destructive spiral of killing the earth.
I try to do my part for my environment, but it is a losing battle if everyone doesn't help. It takes the effort of every living being to help, and most do not realize it. What good is it for the scientists to discover ways to help our Earth, if not enough people will pitch in to do what needs to be done? I agree with this little girl, she is amazing and spoke the truth.

I agree with the other comments here...
And it is pathetic - that children, overall, have more compassion and common sense than many selfish self-absorbed adults. The upside is that maybe the kids will save the world and the rest of us.
