My car is terminally ill, she was a nice car, though she was always high maintenance. She enjoyed the high life of premium fuel and oil with only the best polish and bathing products on the market. She had covers for her silky seats and sound system that most would be proud of. Her stylish looks could still turn an eye with her rear spoiler and low profile tyres and twin carb 16valve 1600cc engine.



However with the financial issues over the last 12 months, her low profile tyres long gone due to expense, she was struggling to look her best and age was starting to get the better of her. The rust disease was looming on her long sills and someone had assaulted her in the car park and left a nice bruise on the passenger door...Tossers!



It has got to the stage that it will cost more than she is worth to put her right, though I have argued with Mrsban that she could well be good for a few more years. Only if I spend the £600 that is need to put her right so that she will pass the MOT that is due at the end of August.



I am going to spend another £150 on her though, as a last show of my affection. If I can just keep her going for a few more months and breath a little more life into her, hold her in my hands, sit inside her, and smell her oily scent for as long as I can, show her that I will be there until the end, then I will be happy!

Ha, you know I said the same thing to Mrsban. I asked if I good purchase another bike and trade mine in and get a trike,*sighs*she wouldn't let me! At least I get to still keep my bike Yay!
