Place an apple and pomegranate upon the altar. There should also be a "planted" pot of earth for each participant - these may be arranged on the altar as well, if there is ample space. Instruments of divination may be placed within the Circle perimeter for use during the ritual if you wish. Arrange the altar as usual and decorate with Autumn leaves, pumpkins, etc.



The Circle is cast and purified the Circle in the usual manner. Dancing around the Circle in a shuffle step (deosil), all chant three times:



The Moon is bright, the Crone is old

The body lifeless - the bones so cold

We all live and pay our dues

To die in ones and threes and twos.



Death, dance and play the harp

Piercing silence in the dark

The Woman's old with withered limbs

Death beckons Her to dance with Him

Go to the Western Quarter and draw an invoking pentagram with the athame to open the gate. Then evoke the dead by saying:



All ye spirits who walk this night -

Hearken! Hearken to my call!

I bid you in our Circle join!

Come ye, spirits of the dead:

Be ye spirit of plant or pet

Or human being who still roams!

Into this Circle you are let!



Speak to us of things unknown!

Now is the time for divination (Ouija Board, pendulum, cards, etc.) and communication with those who have gone on before us. Allow plenty of time for this. [Note: I have found that it is helpful to have a tape recorder handy within the Circle for recording any communications that may be "channeled" during this time. Some people disagree with this suggestion, saying that the metal of this electronic device causes scattered energies in the Circle; however, if the recorder has been cleansed and purified as the rest of the ritual tools, the problem seems to be resolved.]



When the divinatory processes are completed, the Priestess goes to the Western Quarter and draw the banishing pentagram, saying:



Blessings be upon thee, oh wondrous Spirits of the

Summerlands. We humbly thank thee for your presence in our

Circle and honor you in celebration this sacred night. We

beseech thee, oh Pan, keeper of the sacred dead, embrace

once again those souls within your keep and hold tightly

to your breast those which have been lost and wandering.

Grant them safe passage to the Summerland, where they may

rest peacefully in your strength until they are refreshed

and reborn again in perfect love. We bid thee all a fond

farewell. So mote it be!



The gate is now closed.



The Priestess goes to the altar and hold up the pomegranate, saying:



Behold the pomegranate, fruit of Life...



The athame is plunged into the pomegranate, splitting it open to display the seeds. She says:



Whose seeds lie in the dormancy of Death!



The Priestess eats one of the seeds, saying:



I Taste the seeds of Death.



The pomegranate is then passed hand to hand through the participants of the ritual, each eating a seed and saying to the next person:



"Taste the seeds of Death."



The Priestess then holds up the apple, saying:



Behold the apple: fruit of wisdom, fruit of Death...



She then cuts the apple crosswise, saying:



Whose symbolism rewards us with life eternal!



She holds up the apple, displaying the inner pentagram, and says:



Behold the five-fold star - the promise of rebirth!



Consecrate the fruit and wine. Each person then tastes of the apple and sips the wine, saying to the next person:



Taste the fruit of rebirth and sip from the cup of wine of Life.



After libation, the Priestess presents each member of the group with a small pot of earth, planted with three seeds [preferably rue or lavender]. She briefly explains to the group that this is the season of the seed - it is a time of dormancy, but also a time of re-generation for growth. Further, as the seed rests in the earth, they should also take time to rest and re-evaluate their lives, metaphorically planting only those values which will enrich and enhance the growth within the Divine Self. She then instructs them to name the seeds within their pots with three values they wish to incorporate into their lives, knowing that as the seeds sprout with new life, their lives will be new, as well.



After the presentation, all join hands and hold them skyward.

Thus is the Circle of Rebirth.

All pass from this life through the great god, Pan

But through My love you are all reborn

In the cycles of nature - through the Cosmic Plan.



In living we die - in dying we live

The fruit is first seed, yet seed comes from the fruit

Outdoor libation to the Lord and Lady, and the spirits of the dead.

Items needed:

1 white candle

1 mirror

Yourself



Sit in front of the mirror, turn off the lights, and light the candle. Set the candle next to the mirror so the light from it can hit your face, but so you will not see the candle in the mirror.



After this is done, look into your eyes and say:



Oracle of lunar light,

Send me the second sight.



Stare into your eyes and do not blink.

Your reflection will dissolve and another will appear.

Try to look at the face, body,clothing, and surroundings.

After you do this you will have emotions you can not explain.

Don't worry they go away in a few minutes.

Need a blast of psychic power? Coffee to the rescue! Grind strong coffee beans (as opposed to buying coffee already ground) and sprinkle the grinds over lit charcoals. Straddle the smoke (naked if possible) and let it drift up and permeate your skin, hair and inner self. This strong psychic blast usually lasts 24 hours. Repeat as needed.

deeply. Open your eyes in the darkness. Do not strain

to see. Extend the awareness of your psychic senses

outward and feel the texture of the night. Breathe

deeply and rest in the darkness. Let the messages come

to you as you rest in the deepest dark. When you are

finished, go back to an ordinary state of

consciousness and to your normal activities.

This is a rhyme for communication with your self. It

is intended to break down roadblocks in the process of

This one is a good substitute for a hex, when your fear or anger tempts you in that direction:

Wrap Dragon's Blood in paper and throw it into a fire while saying:

"May he/she no pleasure nor profit see,

Until he/she comes back to me.

As I will it, it shall be!"

10ml unscented body lotion 2 drops lemon

1 drop geranium 1 drop sandalwood 20 drops of pre-diluted rose oil

Blend well and massage into your hands.

Now, if you shake somebody's hand they'll do anything for you.

Write the name of the person on a piece of parchment/paper, fold it twice.

Take a lime and cut it twice, once diagonally and once horizontally, but don't cut it all the

way into four pieces. Place the paper or parchment inside the lime and hold it together with

two long steel nails. Place the lime into a clean glass jar and put into it some ash, salt and

vinegar and screw the lid on tight. The ash and salt are supposed to thwart their efforts to

cause you trouble of any kind, and the vinegar and lime should sour their own affairs at the same time.

Light two black candles and chant:

In the name of the Gods and all ye Spirits

In the name of Kernunnos and the light and the dark

And the Gods of the Netherworld

And whosoever shall be casting a curse against me

Let them suffer their own curse

Let these candles be their candles

This burning be their burning

This curse be their curse

Let the pain they have caused me and mine

Fall upon themselves

Do this spell for five consecutive nights (as close to midnight as possible) and each night

chant the spell until the candles are spent.

Preparation-

13 black candles, a belonging of the person you wish to seek revenge on, cauldron, and pepper.

Cast a circle and set up the 13 candles in a crown on your altar.

Now sprinkle some pepper around the circle while chanting,

" To lock in hate, to lock out love, rage I must create, revenge I must think of."

Light the first candle and say,

" I light thee with only hate in my heart. Only with revenge in mind.

I give thee light to aid my rage into the direction of he/she I hate."

Light the other candles one by one and repeat this.

Now hold the object tightly in both of your hands and visualize the persons face,

and think of all the things he/she has done to you.

Gather all of the hate and rage you have toward this person and force

the energy into the object, when you felt you have succeeded in doing this,

open your eyes and chant three times,

" Make (fill in name) see the hurt he/she brings me, make him/her feel the pain I feel.

Remove the hate from my heart, and all the pain he/she brought me,

move it towards the more deserving.

All she has done she shall now see, I will seek my revenge times three."

Now run the object through all 13 candles, and then drop it into the cauldron,

stare into the smoke as you chant,

" As this burns, your pain shall begin, and all you brought me, now shall end."

When the object has burnt out close the circle.

When the moon is in a waning phase, write on white parchment paper (or whatever you

have) the full name of the person you want to move, along with birth date if known.

Roll up the paper, with a photo if you have one, place inside a bottle of vinegar, then

toss into a body of running water, visualize your enemy moving away as the bottle

is washed away.

To have someone see his errors.

This is a three times three spell to use on people who were corrupt in their ways.

It has no negative consequence unless you think ill of the person while casting the spell.

Wind in the north, run through the trees

Three times three, let them see, let them see

Sands of the east, rich soils beneath

Three times three, set them free, set them free

Fires in the south, awaken from sleep

Three times three, let them see, let them see

It works best if you have something representing that person, like a strand of their hair

or a fingernail. The spell may not work instantaneously, you may have to repeat it for

the person to see error in their ways.

To stop an enemy from bringing harm, here is what you must do,

procure a special oil, of Dragon's blood and Rue.

Add to it a pinch of poppy, nightshade and some thyme,

add to that three tiny drops, of some bitter wine.

Anoint a black candle with your victim's name and seal it with an "X",

then chant these words most carefully, to send forth this darksome hex:

Darksome powers of the night,

gather round my candle's flame,

send my enemy in shaded flight,

send my enemy away in shame.

Say this chant 13 times, on the darkest moon,

The Old Ones then will hear your plight and will grant your boon.

Said 3x with a bell dipped in fresh blood and rung 3x over the Gate or summoning sigil.

Take a handful of earth and gaze into it.

Put all your troubles and thoughts of distress into it.

State exactly what it is that's troubling you.

When finished, throw the dirt behind you and walk away without turning around to look at it.
