When Melesh was a child his mother had red hair that was always full of flowers and untamed by nature, she was always tan and beautiful. He grew up the oposite of her pale skin and beautifulblack stright hair that would never be out of place. The differences scared the other fays, but it was his mother who had been a bad fay, she had slept with one of the darklings of the forest, intranced by his dark beauty, his strength, and his strong nature, she had beem seduced into his world. He died in a battle of great consequence to all fays and darkilings, thier son was the last to survive, the beautiful Melesh. He was unchanged still a child he played in the ashes of war, no other child in sight. He talked to the trees and heard the murmer of the earth, but most of all it was Emily that had kept him alive her dreams were so peacefull the images of her thoughts so beautiful, and her looks, so like his mothers, but like him a lonley child and a fay.
"Emily........you belong with me.......your one of us". I swayed on my feet and my knees gave at that moment, someone called out to me, it was my blessed angel. How i knew all this is beyond me. He called my name and i felt the wind and the feel of his icey skin the skin that was colder then death itself, had i died and not known or just hit my head to hard. *A long time passed over Emily as she stayed there in my arms, her untamable hair draped over my shoulder and smelled of clovered hilltops, her tan skin soft and warm, she never knew what i was she only calls me her angel. I knew she belonged to me, shes always been one.............one of us, one of the fay.
