Gleaming light I thought you were, a beacon of my hope,

Ebony my skin a black rose I am, a symbol of my loneliness.

Your light shone down on me fading the dark shadows,

Make me new you did and saved me from the loneliness.



A wilting petal as I was, a black rose dying.

Your water picked me up turning me red.

I was new now, and happy for the time.

Until I left your shining sun.



My petals wilted once agian and plague I brought to you,

Your wings slowly turned dark, ebony in color.

Your beacon slowly faded, I was sorry that I did this.

Made you fall from grace, although you are and were my savior.



My skin once agian black, and my beacon gone,

I asked for your help and no light shone on me.

My sorryness, a word that was never said.

The angel you were finally faded, lost agian now in my dark life.

I walked through dark halls and allys looking for a light,

when none was found and hope was lost, I finally gave.

Right then and there it actually came the light I was looking for,

It helped me up and saved my life and thanks I truly gave.



Then I found out that the light was not as it really seemed,

and when I tried to do the same it cast me to the grave.

I was shocked and very sad to see the kind spirit full of wrath,

So I went away, never said a word, and I went back down that dark path.



So I walked through dark halls and allys looking for the light,

when she was not found I looked for a place I could forever rest.

I took my razor and slit my wrists so I could end my life.

A final tear rolled down my eyes hopeing she would come.
