My name is Tony. Some people call me Doc from my days with the Marines. I have a love for the dark fantastic realm of the Vampire world. You won’t find me lurking about the shadows drinking blood or anything the like, but I can be found buried in a good Vampire or occult book. I have a great fascination with Vampires,immortality and the Vampyre lifestyle. I love Ancient Egyptian history and other mythology.

I found VR by chance. La Bella Oscuridad is my home on VR. It found me and I pleased. I always look forward to seeing new posts in the forum and chatting with housemates whenever possible. LBO is full of talented and aspiring artists and good souls.



I’m a guitarist, been doing that for what seems like forever. I’m a national recording artist and have toured and shared the stage with some famous acts and some not so famous. My songs have been played in the USA on XM satellite radio and various stations across the Midwest.

I mostly listen to rock and metal, but you can catch me listening to jazz, blues or classical depending on my mood.

I’m also a tattooist and several I have collected over the years. Both my arms are sleeved from shoulder to just above the elbow. I have a flaming lotus on my right anterior forearm, a Zen kanji on my left wrist, an ankh on my left palm, a heart with Tibetan flames on my right chest and a bio-mech cover up on my right calf. I did the Ankh myself. Besides my ears I only have one other piercing now. I’ve had several others, but have removed them for various reasons.



I try to run 5K a few times a week time and weather permitting. In 2000 I won the Silver medal in the New York Sate Tae Kwon Do Championships at West Point. I like all kinds of people and find that the beauty within is the most valuable and true friendships are made when this is found.



As an artist: I love pastel chalk. This is probably my favorite medium. Skin and ink is also one of my favorite mediums but is very unforgiving and takes years of practice to perfect. I always strive to be the best at whatever I do, but I appreciate and enjoy other artists work.



As a writer:

I have been sporadically writing short stories, articles, poems and lyrics since I was 18 and I am planning to write a book or two. One book is about my experiences as a Paramedic both in the ambulance and with the crews. Another is about the modern day “vampire” found in places such as VR. I haven’t decided to make it fiction or fact. We shall see.
