Well my roommate is in the hospital..been there since Thursday night. It sucks for me cause I get paid taking care of him..and with him in the hospital means I'm not working. So this is kinda like my vacation..and waiting for my tax return to get here so I can have some money to live on.

I sometimes wish time would go back..back when I was a kid and things were simpler. Back when I could curl up in my dads lap and he would hold me and protect me and make me feel safe. Back when innocence was key, where it was okay to run barefoot through the grass and spin til you got dizzy then fall down. Where we played with dolls and tea sets, climbed trees got dirty, stayed out til dark when our parents would yell for us to come home.



I look at the kids nowadays and my God how time has changed..where's the innocence? Where's the laughter? Kids these days are stuck behind video games or playing on cell phones, acting rude towards others.



It just hurts my heart how some(not all) kids and teens act these days. There's no thank you yes ma'am/sir it's fuck you bitch. I would have been slapped or spanked if I acted like these kids do. And yes I said spanked with a belt or a shoe or anything my momma could get her hands on. But these days if you strike a kid oh it's child abuse can't spank your kid or go to jail.



-shakes my head and just sits here- I'm just gonna shut up..no sense on keeping on cause nothing will change sadly..

That is one of the things I do appreciate about living where I do. The kids do still say Yes Ma'am and Sir. They still respect their elders and do as their told or else. It doesn't stop them from doing bad things but you know when they know you mean business.

Those backs straighten up and they look you dead in the eye.

Then afterward they go get stoned and have sex.
