Something I wanted to write about, because I am a bit disturbed by this site's perception of the demons. First of all, let's clear some misconceptions on what the demons are.

-Who are the demons-

The demons are spiritual beings created by Satan, or otherwise known as Lucifer. Satan himself isn't this evil being that the Christians have created. He is rather a light bringer, a loving deity who encourages self awareness and independence with his followers. More of that can be describe if you all have any questions, I will gladly answer. Now, each demon is connected with Satan since they are this children.

Each demon is willing to help us, teach us and work with us in our own endeavors. What they ask for us in return is to respect them, because they are prideful beings and they rightfully should be. If you show them kindness and respect, they shall do the same.

Another misconception to clear, demons are not responsible for the reported possessions and harm caused by summonings or hauntings. These entities are what we call sludge entities, in which they want us to believe they are the demons. A real demon wouldn't cause harm to a human being who comes to them with good intentions. A demon will also declare their alliance with Satan if asked.

When summoned, the demons come often in a friendly manner and willing to help. Their energy will also feel in a way positive, while also bringing warmth since they are naturally warm beings.

-Guardian demons/the bond we form with them-

Now that we know who the demons are, let us now find out about guardian demons. Some of us are born with them from past lives, while others gain them through the dedication ritual to Satan or reach out and form a bond with one. When we form a bond with a demon, it is powerful. They become our mentor in magick and daily life. Mine helps me grow strong, and shows me to use independence and not to bow down.

You can find your guardian demon through reaching out and following what draws you to them. Does something draw you to a certain thing? Follow it. Notice the signs in daily life, or else ask and they will show you. They will also show themselves through our creativity. I had a character that strongly resembled my best friend and guardian demon Raum, I later found out it was him when I was first stepping into Satanism.

Often it will take time to find your guardian, don't give up if the answer doesn't come to you on the first try. You may also want to open up your chakras or third eye. More of this can be explain on the website JoyofSatan.

-Summoning the demons-

Now when we summon demons, we must come to them with full respect. With that meaning, we must not use any circles or command them. As said before, the demons are not responsible for the harm caused in summonings, but they will grow aggrivated and express this feeling in self defense. Never use circles, for that literally traps them and the circle has been used in the abuse of the demons. NEVER command a demon. The demons are respectful and prideful beings, making any command towards one is highly disrespectful.

What you need for summoning:

Paper
Pen/pencil
Candles (As many as you wish)
Incense (Not mandatory but if preferred)

Draw the demon's sygil on a clean piece of paper, do not burn or destroy it. That is the demon's belonging, and you shall take care of it. It is highly disrespectful to burn or destroy it. Once doing so, envision it while meditating. It is also kind to use the demon's preferable candle colour during the ritual, but black is the universal candle colour. Take a shower before the ritual or clean yourself, for that is respectful.

On another sheet of paper, write out your request to Lucifer to gain audience of said demon:

Lord Satan, by thy grace, grant me, I pray thee the power to conceive in my mind and to execute that
which I desire to do, the end which I would attain by thy help, O Mighty Satan, the one True God who
livest and reignest forever and ever. I entreat thee to inspire [the name of the Demon] to manifest before
me that he/she may give me true and faithful answer, so that I may accomplish my desired end, provided
that it is proper to his/her office. This I respectfully and humbly ask in Thy Name, Lord Satan, may you
deem me worthy, Father.

Sit somewhere comfortably, be somewhere where no one can interupt you. While doing this, meditate and envision the demon's sygil. It is powerful to touch the sygil and repeat the demon's name, either in your head or out loud. Once you feel their presence, recite the appeal you have written. Take as long as you need to feel the demon, don't be frustrated if it doesn't come on first try. Open up to what you feel, does the room feel different? What do you usually feel? This questions can be asked to help you percieve the demon's presence.

The reason why we go through Lucifer is to be safe from deceit from the sludge entities or the enemy. Demons not only communicate with words, but through ideas, thoughts, visions and feelings. It is rare when one physically manifests. Once you get familiar with their energy, you will be able to recognize them.

Another misconception I want to clear before we come to a close, demons do not smell like boiled or rotten eggs. I myself have no idea where this common misconception came from, but demons have rather different scents. With Raum I smell wood smoke or dragon's blood.
