The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I could be finishing my proposal/research paper right now but instead I'm writing in my journal. The beauty of online classes or distance learning is that my due dates are typically midnight. I approve.



I'm down to about five and a half hours before I need to actually submit it, but the beauty of it is that it's a rough draft and it can be mangled where I'll still get full credit. I'll of course drag myself back into Microsoft Word and work on it some more but not until I've pointlessly babbled some more about how I'm not working on it.



I'm having serious problems with my financial aid. It's deeply disturbing how many different departments and organizations I had to speak with today, only to be redirected to someone who could only possibly help me tomorrow morning. The irony of it is that I'm not even taking a loan out. I qualify for pell grants (United States thing) due to my disability (schizophrenia is what they say).



I went out to my local community/junior college today only to find out that I'm flagged for a loan I took out about 14 years ago that was never properly discharged after I filed the paperwork because of the disability. I spent about an hour and a half on my cell phone. I wouldn't expect the woman behind the financial aid desk to be any help, and believe me, she wasn't. I walked out of the building muttering "Fucking Christ".



I did however speak with an academic adviser and I'm closer to my transfer degree than I originally thought. I'm roughly 14 classes away with mostly electives left. I'll finish up this writing composition class that I'm taking with at least a B, if not an A-. I decided to take it easy on myself since this last class was so intense for only being a 100 level class (she doesn't like plagiarism and made the topics off the wall and personal).



I decided on "World Religion" even though I loathe it. I figure it will hopefully teach me some tolerance. I'm a highly agnostic and spiritual person, but if you start throwing out doctrines I'll snap quicker than a mouse trap. :)
