Ah Helix, another great band from Canada. They are probably most well known for the songs "Rock You" and "Deep Cuts the Knife" (which were hits back in the 80s) but here is a gem from the album "Back for Another Taste" that is often overlooked due to being released in the early 90s - just prior to the decline of metal and the rise of grunge. The band continued to soldier on despite the rough times, but sadly after this album guitarist Paul Hackman died in a car accident and the band was just never the same. This one goes out to all of us who are still wild at heart even after all these years:
An old song popped into my head the other day: "The Losers" from the band Warrior Soul. It's an anthem from my distant past but still very relevant today. One of the bands I played in back in the early 90s, did a cover of this and it never failed to get the crowd pumped. "I raise my glass and make a toast...Here's to the Losers"
