He walks among us and very few recognize what he is. Many just nod in passing, few actually speak with him. Those that do pick up on the energy he gives off. He is wolf, he is dragon, he is the protector of many.



He stands on the roof and looks out over the people, watching. Making sure no one gets hurt. He sees a young lady receive a call, watches her answer it. He observes her while going about his business. She goes to him after she's done and she tells him what has happened. She looks like she's going to lose it and he immediately wraps her in his arms. She cries while he holds her and he tells her it's going to be okay. She looks at him and offers a small, tight smile. He asks her if she'll be okay and she nods. He lets go of her and watches as she goes about her business.



One watches this from he shadows and is drawn to him. She wants only to help him but she does not know how. She says hello and he hugs her in greeting. She smiles and asks if there is anything she can do. He says 'no' and gives her a smile. She watches and waits until she can talk to him again. Before she leaves, he kisses her forehead and cheek. She smiles and hugs him once more. She walks away, feeling protected and special.
