Funny shit....
So I stay off vr for a few days. When I get back, I do the normal thing, and start to browse through journals. OMG people get over it. Do you really care that f*cking much what one person rates you. Also half the people b*tching about it are the ones that always make those "I don't care what I get rated" states, or "I hate when people just go around giving 10's. What's wrong? You can do it, but can't take it when someone gives it right back to you. Grow the f*ck up. Many people rate in kind on this site. We all know this, it's been going on forever.
Sulky0Uya, stand your ground. Rate the way you feel is fair. Standing up for your own way is much more admirable than conforming to what others think you should do.

YAY no work tomorrow & Tuesday....Today has been one hellacious day. My head is pounding. I wish I could just slam it into a brick wall, so it would bust open. At least that would relieve the pressure. So I asked someone to being me something for my head at around 10am, so finally around 2 they showed up. They handed me these green & white pills, 5 of them. I’m going what the hell, what the fuck is this shit. They shrugged, said just take the damn things. Whoa, hold up I start thinking well at this point if it helps my head, then what does it matter. Then I thought a little more, I haven’t popped pills in years (well not like this person does daily) so I think, better not take them all at work, been so long, they could knock me on my ass. So I was good, I only took one. However, it’s now 3pm, my head is still killing me, & I have taken 2. I do feel a little relaxed, but my fucking head still hurts. rolls eyes ~End Rant~

I don't think it has anything to do with what the person is rating, simply their rudeness is the issue.

Some people think it is rude to request a rerate. I happen to be one of those people. Have thought this way since I started vr. To me it is like having poor manners.

But so is downrating people out of spite, don't you think? If i'm given a low rate and the person says why they rated that way, I have no problem. But simply going around giving people low rates simply because you feel like being a bitch, that's bad manners to me.

It's not rude if they rate in kind & that is there system. If they do it to only certain people or only a few of the people, then yes that would be rude & wrong. Many people have their on rating system. Some even take off points because of name changes, because some change their names to improve rates. Not all people do name changes for that reason. Is it fair to rate all that name change the same way, simply because they might have did it for that reason. No, not really, but some people still chose this as they way they rate. From what I can tell, she rated everyone the same they gave her. She did not pick & chose to do this way with only certain people. In my opinion, that's just as fair as many other rating systems that people have around here.

Yeah well, in my opinion, It. Doesn't. Matter. Some days I go around and actually think about what they deserve, but only if I'm very bored. Most days I rate all around 10s.
You know why I think it doesn't mattter? Because if it's not good enough to remember it that next morning, it's not enough to get worked up about. Maybe some people DO take vr rating THAT SERIOUSLY, but those people need to go out in the sun every once in a while.
