I stumbled upon a darkness

And suddenly, I was blind

I scratched and clawed for an exit

Yet, this emptiness dragged me down



Many times I put up a fight

Every time, I am knocked back

Like a puppet

I am helpless



My will begins to fade

My mind is lost

I have no control

So, here I rot



A helping hand reaches out

But I am reluctant to do the same

I've been gone far too long

And as time passes, they disappear



I am alone again...

But I do not care

This poison is my peace

The only thing that understood



Alas, this friend bites back

A liar and a traitor

It sucks away my life

Yet, I still do not care



I once stumbled upon a darkness

I've always been blind

So empty, so dull



Finally, I fall

I do not get up

I close my eyes
