Is there a doctor around? One that can diagnose needing someone that is bad for you? Not everyone I've let close to me turned out to be toxic, right? Is there an apple for that?
Why invest years of time into people who'll literally abandon you in a flash? Masochism? Naive hope?
Yes, go figure:
I'm more naive than you could have ever imagined.... I believed the people I forged a connection with wouldn't leave me feeling this way.
Oh well.
I refuse to believe everyone is sick on the inside like those I've met.
There are those that bring good around them.
There are.
There just have to be...

The underlying reason to always being existentially exhausted.
Luck with jewelry much?

Hematite necklace, utterly shatters. Two hematite bracelets, more or less exploded. Hematite stone, pretty much vanishes for no reason. Gold ring, lost. Tiger's eye point pendant, breaks and Hematite pendant, falls apart for no reason less than a week after acquiring it. Either obsidian or onyx earrings, pretty much gone.
It's starting to seem it's a little more than just bad luck with jewelry.

Well, isn't that just funny?
Convictions have a funny ass way of melting away for some people.
I guess that's what some people would prettily paint as "flexible".
Thanks for the laugh.
... and Walter is pretty hot. Just sayin' lol

I went to see a show tonight with my sister. Completely out of the blue. While out on South street, hitting the typical stores that interest us, she grabbed some flyers, one featured a cabaret show's which last showing in Philly was tonight. We decided to go, and it was utterly worth it. Small gathering, practically sold out, the stage was set up in a church basement in the middle of a campus. Obscure and completely out of the way. We wouldn't have heard about it at all if we hadn't stopped by the new store my sister suggested. Again, freaking awesome show.
The Bearded Ladies, performed Marlene and the Machine. A musical, which we both think was witty and emotional. With the addition of steampunk-ish themes and self-analytical therapy, they sung their pretty little selves straight into our hearts. So much in fact that I want to head to New York just to see the showing again in two days. The music and lyrics were striking and the Artistic simplicity of the setup was masterful. I enjoyed it very much to say the least.
Leia...
Funny.... All the while watching their performance and listening, all I could think about was getting a chance to share this with you, watching and sharing in your reactions to everything that went on.
Go figure. Still being a part of my life despite all that is... Hope you're well.

"...some people go, and others become a part of you.
Some friendships feel like they'll last forever
And others end far too soon.
Not every friendship is meant to last a lifetime...
...What does last forever is the pain when that person is gone." - The Flash
Misread this, if you wish. I KNOW some of you will.

There are indeed some who bring good around them. I just find at times they seem to be on the endangered list of spices.

Well you can't have light without shadows. Sometimes it is not them but one's expectations of them. Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.

This is damned true as well. Far too often do I expect from others what I am willing to do.
