The story of my life part I.

I´m not going to name my date of birth, since the concept of "age" makes people judge one another.

Either you´re the stupid teen, without any life-experience, who´s trying to make statements nobody will ever take the time to listen to.

Or you´re the average adult who´s not allowed to look or act wiser than his fellow human beings, without being laughed at and called irresponsible.

Maybe you´re the old grandfather, who´ve seen more of life than most people, but who´ll be judged by the younger to be a boring, crazy old fool.

Many of us forget to listen. We make up excuses to protect our own ego, because we´re too arrogant to think that we could possibly learn something from someone else.

One excuse is the concept of age.

"Oh, he´s just a confused teen"

"Dont you ever grown up?"

"He´s just getting old and senile."

Therefore, I shall not mention my age - I will tell you of parts of my life and some of the experiences I´ve made through time.

I was raised in a family of arts, my mother was a poet, a writer and psychologer.

My dad was an artist, an alcholic, and - just like my mother - very highly edjucated.

My childhood was rather bizarré, in a way that I was raised in some sort of "dark fantasyworld" made from the influence of art, science and insanity.

As a kid my dad took me to a huge variation of artmuseums, he showed me a world of imagination, and gave me the ability to look through the windows and into the minds of the artists. I saw what they saw in some of their deepest moments in life.

One of the major influences that really had an impact on me, was the movie "A Clockwork Orange" that my (not surprisingly) dad showed to me when I was around seven.

It´s a movie about a crew of youngsters, who in their sparetime walk around in the streets all dressed up in white and with black bowlerhats on top of their heads.

As the movie progresses, they beat, rape and murder completely innocent people, for fun.

One scene I remember in particular, is when they go into a house where this old man - who´s barely able to walk by himself - lives, and the leader of the crew Alex, beats him with his walkingstick while he joyfully sings the song "I´m singin´ in the rain" - in the meanwhile, they hold a young girl - a girl who lived there to take care of the old man - down to the floor while they rape her one after another.

The whole movie continues like this, but at last Alex gets betrayed and cought.

He´s giving treatment and doing time, and comes out as a completely new person.

But after he gets released, he becomes the victim of the cruel and wicked. He gets beaten, assulted - and in the end of the movie, killed.

And the thing with this movie is.. or at least that was what I got out of it.. that I would rather be the cruel and wicked predator, than the good and somehow weak type of person, who ends up as the prey.

That´s something that disturbs the peaceful mind of a 7 year old.

To be continued.

Being good does not mean becoming the prey.
