For three days, the sun shone brighter than it had ever been, leaving Anna to stay and tend to the house until it was cloudy once more. Finally, on this particular day, the sun was covered with a sheet of rain clouds, allowing Anna to cavort into the town.
While on one of her routine walks that she used to have when she was in Maine, she spotted a small park, and at this park was Abbi sitting in a swing, writing vigorously in her notepad. Anna waved slightly, trying to be friendly, but stopped when she noticed that Abbi was not going to look up. Just as she turned to leave, Abbi shot her head straight up, and began flaring her arm out at Anna.
"Anna! Over here!" she shouted as hard as she could. Anna reluctantly trudged over toward where Abbi was sitting. Abbi hopped out of her swing chair and ran over to meet Anna.
"Oh, how are you? I think it's been ages since I saw you!" Abbi rambled on. Anna just shrugged and signed the words, I'm doing alright. "I'm glad!" Abbi said, almost bouncing in place. Anna make a slight face of disgust. This girl seemed too happy to be human.
Just as Anna thought those words, what seemed like a gang appeared in the distance. These people were unlike anybody Anna had ever seen before. There were four of them, three men, and one girl. They seemed to be about Anna's age or relatively close. They all wore nothing but dark colours. It was the type of group Anna thought would be interested in.
As they walked closer toward Anna and Abbi, Anna realized that they were the targets that these kids were walking to.
when they reached Anna and Abbi, Abbi made a sour face, taking a step or so back away from them, as if their presence was pushing her away.
To be finished...
