It's extremely hard to overcome any addiction. Your mind has to be prepared and ready, if it's not it'll set you up for failure.
It's hard now, but you need to keep focus on the end result. Speak to people have gone through this, find inspiration, because you're not alone. Hundreds of people are going through the same thing, and it's just as difficult for each and everyone.
If you relapse a few times, don't get discouraged.

It takes time, effort and will power.

Getting you someone that you can talk to when you feel the urge to drink is the first step.. weather it be a counselor or a goof friend.. that way when you feel that urge you can reach out..

I struggled with drinking for awhile and some days all I want is to drink my troubles away. The best suggestion I can give to you is find a hobby to immerse yourself into or play the question game that's what I do and it helps to fight the urge.
