My trip to Michigan is out. We've waited too long to book the train and now the prices are way more than I can handle.

My daughter will have to go alone with the team. I'm not happy about it, but I still have the rest of my family to think of. I'm sure she'll be fine, but it's going to worry me like crazy.

I was really looking forward to this...and at the same time I was dreading spending so much money. I guess things just have a way of working out like they were supposed to.

You Are 57% Pure

You're not so innocent... in fact, you're quite unpure.

You have seen and experienced a lot. And you're no worse for the wear!

There's a lot of life's dark side left for you to experience... if you want to.

My Jenn took fourth place in her weight division and the team took first place over all. This is the third year in a row that the team has won the state championship! The girls were awesome and it was absolutely amazing to watch!

I'll get a video up of her lifting as soon as I can.

It went...better than expected. In the end though, our worries were for nothing. I think she'll end up going back.

A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard.

The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug

was wadded against one wall.

In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a Cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing.

In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened.

He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls.

As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went.

He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"

She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world do I do all day?"

"Yes," was his incredulous reply.

She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it."

We're probably going to lose at least 3 people within the next 3 months. it's a shame the management can't get their head out of their asses.

This is ridiculous. A part time clerk is crying her eyes out today because the other secretary here is a bitch and treats her like shit.

It got worse when the bitch moved a desk into her little bitty office and told the clerk that was now her work station. So she's under her thumb every second she's here and the bitch makes her feel like shit if she speaks to me.

The clerk was told when she was hired that she was NOT the bitch's personal assistant. She was told that she was a clerk in the department and could do whatever was needed by anyone. HOWEVER, by moving the clerk into her own office and constantly keeping the door closed when the clerk is here, she's pretty much closed her off from everyone else.

The poor thing comes in this morning crying because she doesn't want to work with her anymore. I've told her to talk to the Lt. She says she's going to once she calms down. She's not a mousy thing, by any means, but she is worried if she says anything to the bitch, she'll be the one on the losing end, and she needs her job.

The sad part is, the bosses still won't see that the bitch needs to be talked to.

Hmmm, okay Managers' normally notice but only intravene if they want to. Is there anything wrong with the clerk's work? Sounds like they could be trying to force her hand into resignation, and the secretary is playing to this as of course she is getting the bosses attention.//

Thats, Emmy always so logical.. hmm sighs.

Ok...so figure this...

Hypethetically speaking, I'm a deputy sheriff. I've worked 160 hours with 8 of those hours being holiday time.

I'm getting paid double time and a half for my holiday hours, but I'm told by the payroll dept that I'm having to use 8 hours of my comp/vac time.

Makes no sense to me, so I ask, the obvious question..what's up?!

I'm told that because I'm being paid double time and a half for the holiday I physically WORKED...It's like I didn't work that day, so they are taking 8 hours of my comp/vac time to make up for that.

Now I ask you...what kind of shit is that??

Now, if we could only get him to see the 'bitch' in the bitch.

My B came over last night to wash clothes. She brought a movie over for us to watch together, "3:10 to Yuma". It was pretty good, but the end left me hanging. I see a "5:15 to Sing Sing" coming in the future!

She's worrying me, my B. She passed her tests to go to nursing school, and did really well on them, but I don't know how she's going to be able to afford to go to school full time, work part time and afford to pay her bills. The boyfriend tells her he'll work all the overtime he can to help her out, but I'm afraid he'll get tired of spending his money on bills. He's 23 and ready to party. I'm not sure he'll last long like that.

*sigh* I sound like my mom when she would worry about me. That's funny and scary at the same time.

We're going to the State meet!

My daughter took first place in the Regional meet and we're headed to the state meet in two weeks. She beat her personal record of 700 pounds. Her total lift for the meet was 715.

She's hoping to move up to 740 for the state meet, but if she doesn't make that, second place is ok with everyone.

My son took 2nd in both the 2 mile and 1 mile run in his meet. I didn't get to see him run, but I'll see him this coming weekend. His next meet will be here in town, so no traveling....yay!
