Little kitty don't be blue
Come with me and I'll treat you
To fish,to milk,perhaps a mouse
You can run around the house
Freely,gracefully and such
In return I do not ask for much
Just that you let me pet you
That you sleep by me,true
Order keep and mice catch here
Not let me be blue or be with fear
Not to leave me alone when my angel departs
Stopping my connection to the arts
And driving me into shadowy sorrow
Yet if you stay, till but tommorow
I can regain my inner flame
Without it I'm not the same
I feel much pain and sorrow too
My inspiration,I need you
Like many others of my art
Or in the ideal which I inhabit, fimbles
I find my inspiration mostly or in part
In glasses,mugs or little thimbles
Red for longing and for passion
Gold for somber deep reflection
Rainbow for an idyllic phrase as is the fashion
Blue for sorrow and deeper introspection
Though my favorite is the darker
Variety which calls to my soul,my blood
It gives my mind a marker
Through which my fantasies can flood
Pour onto the page as inky tears
Drying and preserving my aches, loves and fears
We saw eye to eye
you and I
once
But now we hate one another
We're poison,just like a cobra's bite
And every night we miss each other
But when we meet we're cold and bitter
Shadows mask our light
"Are you well?",I ask, holding back tears
"I'm fine",you answer,feeding my fears
Yet I hear your breath catch and your lips quiver
I can feel the heat between us,like a fever
Spreading through us as we sit, polite ice statues melting inside
We seem nothing serious to a passer by
They see us as distant people sharing a meal
Yet I see your lips clench, hear your breath catch, see you cry
unseen tears,and I can feel
How I hurt and all I want to say
is come back, come back, without you I see no day
If only we wouldn't steal
Each other's life,each others soul
Yet all our pleasantries a toll
Put upon us we sit in silence and now our pain
Will never find release
Or certain semblance of peace
"I'm late,M",you say to me
"I'm late too,E",I say to you
"Till next we meet,merci"
oh why,oh why did you leave me?
Why did I let you walk away?
Now both of us are stuck in neverending gray
Not night or day we meet, but in the dusk
Before the moon has risen and the sun is but a husk
