You perform, you end up feeling odd, left out or not in the group. It certainly is a chance to actually be yourself, and take a step to a deeper level of social connection. Or it can drain you, or you can take a break and put yourself back together and go back in. It's not always fun. Facing conflict "truthfully" requires courage, truth and willingness to hear another. It can teach us about our resilience and we can learn to process conflict consciously. Or it can reveal our defensiveness and paranoia.
