So we have found a two story town home that we are trying to rent. We gave the paperwork back to them today and tomorrow we are going to drop of our money for background and credit checks..I cannot stand when you have to pay before you are even guaranteed a place but I am really hopeful about this new place and I am pretty much willing to do what I need to do to get into this place..

I am hoping for the best..this place is HUGE and it's only $5 more then what were paying for now in our studio house, but this one is a two story two bed room with a back yard and extra storage..

It's defiantly a great deal and I am doing what I can to get in there..they only have 3 homes left so hopefully one will be ours soon!

I had an awesome weekend..

John's birthday dinner was last night and it was just a blast..he had a great time which was the most important thing for me :)

I also dyed my hair which looks great and did a bit-o shopping so it went well..

We took lots of pictures I shall be putting them up in my port when I get a chance..

*happy sigh*

I came into the office this morning and I found a sweet surprise at my desk waiting for me..

It was a beautiful Thanksgiving card, along with a gift card inside for a local grocery store here..enough to pay for most maybe all of our thanksgiving food needs..

Which couldn't have come at a better time..

This isn't the first time they have went out of there way to do things for me and the other employees here..

Just yesterday she gave me a gift card for John's birthday dinner...

They are truly great people..

So last Saturday our toilet was backed up to the point where it was coming up thru the shower..

So we called our landlord and 3 hours later she FINALLY called us back and came over with her husband so "attempted" to fix the problem..

Turned out a tree root had broken into the piping..at this time John had left to come pick me up at a friends house I was at..

So we came home and she and her husband were gone.

No note.

No phone call.

Our neighbors had to come over later to tell us what had happened.

I guess they said they had "fixed" the issue and that they would be back later next week (currently this week) to pick up the tools they left behind..

So last night i was getting ready for bed and I flushed the toilet and the piping in the wall busted..I mean it sounded like someone had just shot a gun off in the house..and then the toilet preceded to fill up our small bathroom...

So we called her right away and of course no answer I didn't expect it, it was around 9ish so pretty late..

But still no word from her today..

Tried calling her twice...

No answer no call back.

see this shouldn't come as a surprise because every time we do try to call she never answers and it takes her on average about 2 weeks to get back to us..yes litterly two weeks

I mean if there was an emergency she would be the last to know...

And turns out her and her husband while adding shitty plumbers to their list of horrible half assed jobs, broke the capping to the piping outside...so it got backed up and caused what is now our biggest problem...

We have no water in the bathroom..no toilet and no shower...

I know another one of my close friends on here is going thru the same thing...

I am seriously thinking about contacting someone about this..I mean I wouldn't be so upset if this wasn't the first time we have had issues with her not doing her job...

They are true slumlords...

I could just go on and on about the shit we have dealt with..

I am sorry it is just so stressful...

I needed to vent :/

Hey kitten, It's KK, I was just gifted this Pro.

You can Google Tenant Laws for your State, call the Inspector and they will come out w/in 72 hours.

Ours "magickally" went away a few days later....J says the only way that coulda happened is if they let themselves in while we were gone w/a Plumber....

And YESTERDAY, we found lily-WHITE MUSHROOMS growing in the corner of our living room...poisonous ones....because there was a LEAK in the wall....fucking A!!

J and I are going to move as soon as I get a Job that will let me go to School....we've had it....we took pics of the mushrooms and are grateful that the stink is gone in our bathroom...but since we "had it" for a Week, like I said...we were gone here and there the 2 weeks ago over that Weekend 'cos it smelled so bad...and then BAM...."it's gone".

unh hunh, shurreeee...it "just disappeared on its own".

Thanks both of you.

I got home this evening and John had said that the landlords husband came by to "fix" it and I came home and all he had done was put a rock ontop of the hole of the pipe where HE cracked the sealant and cap for..so I guess he thought putting a rock over it would fix it?

B.S! It's going to keep happeneing....I looked it up too and called around..the cap needed for our kind of piping is $15 at home depot and the landlord lied and said it needed to be ordered and that it would take a while...

It just makes me sick..

it's going to keep happpening until it gets soo bad they have to replace more then just a cap!!!!!

I am needing some gift ideas for my boyfriend...

We have been together for almost a year and a half and his birthday is next Monday..and I know of one thing I will be getting him..but I can't think of anything else..I mean I can think of tons of things I want to get him for Christmas but his Birthday...

Below is a link to an article from my local newspaper. Wed. a young girl went missing. She is believed to be with her 44 year old uncle and also believed to be in danger, they also believe they could be traveling down south to L.A or the surronding areas. they have also issued an Amber Alert.

So please, anyone in the CA region with any info or insight please call the Shasta County Sherrifs Office ASAP. The number is listed on the article.

So..

I tried the McRib for the first time ever a few days ago..

It was the first time I had been at a McDonald's since probably close to a year...

See I read an article talking about how people travel MILES just to get a taste of it..and they only bring it out once or twice a year..they even had fan sites and McRib locaters...

So HEY my curiosity got the best of me...

BUT unfortunately I was disappointed with taste.

But the price wasn't too bad..but I will not be getting another one anytime soon lol

Yeah I never really knew about the McRib until I read the article and funny enough they just came into our town starting last week..

Maybe it was the way this one was cooked but the Arco across the street makes a BOMB BBQ rib sammy :P

Currently at work..

I get off in a couple house..cannot wait..

The weather is finally starting to feel like Fall..

For a while there it was pretty warm or pretty cool..

Went from an Indian summer to close to winter over a 5 day span...

It's nice though...relaxing..and cozy :)
