I swear if one more damn thing goes wrong for the next 6 months I am going to lose it. Two weeks ago, the CVS I worked convinced me to get the free flu shot - they figured it would look good to the customers to see one of the security officers get the shot. I usually get it every year with my doctor. I did as they asked and ended up with the WORST case of flu I have ever had. I ended up in the hospital for four days, missed work. I go back to work for all of three days where they sent me to a solar field in Chesterfield S.C. (for North Carolinians it is near Rockingham North Carolina where the Nascar track is and for those who live where I do, you have to go through Rockingham to go to Myrtle Beach. You have to stay in your car, cause a lot of the wild life will EAT you. They are over run with coyotes, feral dog packs, wild pigs, cougars, bobcats, black bear and a small pack of 14 Red wolves. The first week I was there, I started to get out of my car to use one of the port a johns and I barely got my door cracked when i heard a loud growl like a large cat. Keep in mind I had NO IDEA about this place because it was the first time I had been there. I slammed the door shut and look up out of my windshield and there above my head in the tree is the biggest damn cougar I have ever seen. I suddenly did not have to pee anymore. About 2 hours later, a large deer jumps out of the bushes where I am parked and he jumps over the hood of my Benz, chased by a pack of about 8 to 10 big feral dogs which caught him about 90 feet from my car and killed him. They tore that poor buck apart and for three days I had to see that blood stain til the workers finally got tired of the blood attracting the animals during the day - these animals usually don't come out til it gets really good and dark and everyone has left.

The second night, a really thick fog sets in after a heavy rain earlier that evening. There is a school bus that the solar workers use to transport large amounts of works through the fields, and its parked directly under the only street light on the property. I look up after hearing the coyotes start howling and theres a big one standing on top of the roof of that bus, and down on the grown i start seeing eyes and as they get closer theres a whole pack of them. I go do my rounds to make sure no one is trespassing and about 200 yards ahead I see this black bear come out and start crossing the dirt road.. She has two cubs with her so I stop the car, turn off the lights and sink down in the seat.. No way in hell do I want to provoke a mother bear, especially when that bitch is almost bigger than my car. I waited 10 minutes after she went into the woods on the other side before I cranked the car again. That night, I decided to not get out of the car at all, drive 5 minutes down the road to a gas station and use the ladies room, and find out that there is a shoot on sight order on the coyotes, wild pigs and feral dogs, and the Sheriff's dept gives bounty money for killing them. I got two of the feral dogs and one wild boar, but I didnt go looking for them or shoot for no reason. I had to get out of the car to go to the bathroom - it was one of those immediate needs deals and coming out there was two feral dogs and as soon as I opened the door they tried to get inside it. I had my gun on me, and just put it up to the dogs face where he was trying to get in and pulled the trigger. Second dog tried to get me when I came out to get back in my car, and as soon as he started charging at me, I got him too. The wild pig however - those things are so vicious they will attack anything, and will even attack your vehicle. He rammed the damn car so I rolled down the window and shot him before he could do anymore damage. The second week I was there I only saw a small bobcat, a few foxes and rabbits, but heard the coyotes. That Sunday night, my car broke down and I had to have it towed back to North Carolina and had to call someone to come get me before the tow truck took my car - Its a 2 hour drive. I get the car back after 2 days, then go to work back down in SC on wed night - these shifts are 16 hours long. So I drove 2 hours, worked 16 and drove 2 hours back. When I got home, I pretty damn much died like a vampire when the sun comes up. So my son took my daughter to work and after he dropped her off, he is about to get on the highways and is slowing to stop at the stoplight when 2 men start yelling and running towards the car - this is a really bad area has at - shootings happen all the time, drug dealers, prostitutes, robberies - and a LOT of armed robberies concerning vehicles occur. He turns to look - and looks back to the front and hits the breaks that failed - and rear-ends a Honda Accord - barely ANY damage on that but the whole front end of my car is crumpled. They totaled it today.

I didnt get mad at my son, shit happens. and knowing he is a good driver, wasn't speeding or acting a fool, I know it really was an accident. Was just glad he was okay. So now, I am without a car, which if I dont get something pretty fast - I am screwed, cant work with no car. I had traded it for a Charger but shit went really wrong and I had to take the damn thing back. Buy a car, have it less than a week and the whole engine blew. So I ended up back with the Benz.

Now that the car is totaled, the ex is making it even harder and stressing me out because the car was part of my settlement in the divorce and I asked him for the insurance money to put a down payment on another car and hes being a real jerk about it. So its amazing that I have not lost my mind the last few weeks. I am thanking the Gods that my divorce finally becomes final as of 6 days from now.
