Flu has been kicking my ass for over a week now, but while I've been down, plans do keep moving onwards and into the next phase. Finally signed the paperwork on the RV. I went with the more rugged option, rather than the extra room and comfort as I think I'll be in harsher terrain that the Ember can handle, for example.
The land purchase fell through, but that's ok- it seemed a bit sketchy anyway. Sad though as it was 40 acres in a nice spot in WY for $25k, which seemed like a bargain, but probably too good to be true. Patience is always needed in property purchases anyway and I know that the right one will come along. There's plenty of options in desert areas, but I really wanted a water source, even if it was just seasonal.
Beyond all that, there's still a lot of uncertainty in the world, but moving closer to getting the disk replacement surgery. Other things to be checked now too, but hopefully not too serious. If this back of mine could get sorted out soon, life would be just about as good as it can be, all things considered. I'm aware of the fortunate circumstances I find myself in, so whatever can be done to help, I'll do when appropriate.
Compartmentalizing helps a great deal. Keeping that shit locked down is essential to for any crisis management, but also ensuring that those boxes are examined and worked through when time and opportunity allows is still very necessary. but for the time being, slow, deliberate intentional steps are helping to maintain emotional, mental and spiritual stability. The physical situation is what's beating me down right now, but at least there's progress.

I hope you get well soon! The flu sucks...
The land will come when the time is right and you have the luxury of seeing all sorts of wonderful things and going to all sorts of wonderful places in the mean time. What an exciting adventure that is! :D
