I love this track. And this kind of music is something I love to dance to.
Tarantula
Bristol is the home of a lot of top class Drum and Bass, but one of the best nights I ever had was at a Virus night at Lakota.
It was my mates birthday and about six of us were going to go down and have a night. No tickets, but thought we'd pay on the door. Got there and the queue was three deep and right back around the corner. The place was rammed.
So we were obviously a bit pissed off at that, and decided to walk up to another smaller club, which would be empty since everyone was at Lakota.
Ten seconds up the road and my mates girlfriend bumps into this guy she knows from London, a bouncer. Turns out he was working that night and was out getting some fried chicken.
She gave him the lowdown on us not having tickets. He says "Follow me" and to wait at the corner for him, as he heads into the club.
Two minutes later, he pops out the side fire escape and beckons us inside. No cost. Off we go and I spent the entire night off my eyes at the front of the dancefloor, listening to the darkest, hardest DNB I ever have before or since.
This is a small sample of Ed Rush and Optical from Virus;

I thought the Tarantula track was pretty good, and I do like some of Ed Rush's music. My taste is much...gayer. Is gayer a word? Gayish maybe...
