My thanks will always be to Joli for introducing me to this poet, artist and in a way, philosopher, Khalil Gibran.
The Prophet is his most famous work and it is a thing of beauty.
To even be mentioned that some things I have written are a reminded of his style, is beyond an honour, perhaps too much of a praise, and while he is incomparably more refined, I do see why I like him so much.
I can fall asleep listening to his words being read to me and I will sleep well.

That's one of my favorite books. I have been a huge fan for as long as I can remember, and have quoted him in my journal here many times.
It's good to know there are others on Vampire Rave that appreciate the amazing work he gave to this world.
That book, "The Prophet" contains a passage for nearly any instance of life- and it's why I have given it as a wedding gift several times :)
