If you are sexually attracted to someone's personality, you may be demisexual.
Demisexuality is a sexual orientation where a person only feels sexual attraction to someone after forming an emotional bond with them.
Emotional bonding:
A demisexual person may usually only engage in sexual relations after an emotional connection has formed. This can be somewhat limiting in a physical sense, as scenarios such as 'one night stands' are not compatible with the mental space demisexuals often find themselves in.
Is it a part of the asexual spectrum?
Demisexual people are likely to have a lower-than-average sex drive, however, it does not mean that they dont have sexual desires. They are simply scoped to a preferred circumstance.
Romantic attraction:
Some demisexuals may also feel romantic attraction, while others do not. When combined with polyamory, romance is possible, but clear boundaries exist to which the extent of such romances can expand to.
Gender identity:
Demisexual people can have any gender identity, orientation or proclivity. The key is in understanding another entity to be able to form a perception of them mentally in order to become aroused.
