I've been thinking of going to France for my vacation this year, assuming I don't lose my job in the recession. I'm researching guided tours because I do not speak French. I don't think you need to know French if you have a tour guide handling everything. Going to France has been a dream of mine for a long time and I should do it before I retire. Who wants to travel when you are old and decrepit? You should go on dream vacations before you get too old to enjoy it.
However, I've also been thinking of going to the Burning Man Festival. I don't care for roughing it in the desert though.
I could go on the next Gothic Cruise but I don't think I fit in with that crowd.
Today I got the Alchemy Wall Calendar that I ordered. I really needed a calendar for the new year and thought this was a great way to goth up the place.
I've been looking for little ways to put more goth in my life. A goth calendar is a good way to make it a goth year.
Another little goth touch was replacing my keychain with a celtic cross keychain. This keeps a little goth in my pocket all day without being too conspicuous.
So what other boring consumer items can I replace with something that better reflects my personal style? I drink a lot of coffee so I should get some gothic coffee mugs. I do have an Emily The Strange mug which I don't use much because the decal might come off.
I have a bat wallet on its way. I don't know if I'll be able to use it because it may be uncomfortable in my back pocket or may not fit.
