I'm giving up on my Goth Monkey Flash animation idea because a squirrel monkey does not have the kind of eyes that can appear to look in various directions and it is hard to make a monkey look goth. I just could not come up with a decent character design.
Instead I will try a creepy goth puppet. A puppet can be a much more serious character. The strings will make for a nice animation effect too. As far as I can tell, nobody has created a goth puppet even though puppets can be very creepy and are a natural for the gothic aesthetic.
Maybe I should think about creating a real goth puppet. It would be easier to just film it then. Plus I could sell goth puppets.
RadioGolgotha appears to be off the air. I don't know if they are taking a break for the holidays or what. I had just discovered this online radio station for goth music and now there are gone already.
I used to watch an amusing goth chick on BlogTV who was doing a show called "Goth Talk". She would explain goth to all the idiots that came into the room. I guess that got kind of old. However, I am now left with no online show to look forward to. I don't get cable TV anymore so I rely on online media for all my entertainment.
I guess I will need to look high and low for something to replace those shows.
Today I got the "Gothic Art Now" book in the mail. This is the first art book I've seen that features nothing but goth art. It even has some photographs by John Santerineross. I plan to examine the artwork and pick out the elements which I could use in my gothic web design work. I will also visit the web sites of the artists. Maybe they have some prints or books of their own for sale.
I also got a vampire chalice and gothic cross keychain today. I like the keychain which provides me with an inconspicous way to carry a little bit of goth with me. The chalice is also a nice bit of houseware. I own my house so I should really goth up the place. There is nobody to stop me!

Can you share where you got the book and the chalice from? I'm trying to 'goth up' my place too, and would love some things like that.
