Quite frankly I'd rather have the muscle spasms.
The meds the doctor gave (Xanaflex) are making me sick and hallucinate.
I stopped taking them last night, but things are still way weird.
I called the doctor and was told, "Stop taking em. It'll stop in 12 to 24 hours."
Dammit
There were several threads in the forum I was going to comment in, as the topics were ones I found interesting.
However (comma), either the semi-literate tards replying or the narrow minded pedantic children who started the thread completely turned me off.
After four such, my give up.
I grow tired of intellectual aridity.
I need a rain of succulent thought, of intent and queries and disagreement and whys and finger pointing with laughing comments and smart fucking conversation all-god-damned-ready or at least a good multi sided discussion with folks who know their stuff and are not afraid to drag it out for other people to poke at to see if everyone, everyone, learns something new and grows.
Or else, what is the fucking point?
Lobotomies for all!

BASTARDS!!!
It's not like you don't have another arm, ya know?
:-)
I hope you feel better soon.
I have a mix of medications to help at least reduce the pain with mine. I use a strong anti inflammatory to combat the trauma pain from the spasms, a general painkiller to back that up, and amitryptiline to make sure I pass out. There are a few side effects (amitryptiline = landwhale) but as a combo it does make things a bit more bearable. If you don't have an anti inflammatory it could make a lot of difference. Just keep bugging your doctor til he gives you something that works for you. I do wish for all the world that you didn't have to go through this:/
Just as a note:
Don't ever dare chastise me for not keeping in touch if you've made no attempt to contact me.
Period.
It's rank hypocrisy.
Who would have thought I'd ever stick around in someone's head years after I thought things were over and done?
I have no idea what to think about this, but that dog won't hunt anymore.
