I had that notion last night... Thank goodness it passed.

A lick upon you,

caress of warm skin, lovely,

scents and sounds tame me ...

This started as a "Contest" with Joli, then morphed into just plain fun! The below was begun in September, I think, and here it is. CarnelianMyst suggested the idea - Shakespearean porn (yeah, man!) - and Joli reminded me the format of the Shakespearean sonnet. See below!

It's no longer a contest, just damned good fun. :) I love playing this game with Joli! Or by myself! Or with my imaginary friend!

Shakespearean Porn Ahoy!

The Sonnet Form:

Iambic pentameter for the meter, 3 stanzas and a couplet with the following rhyme scheme:

Line 1 A

Line 2 B

Line 3 A

Line 4 B Quatrain One/Stanza One

Line 5 C

Line 6 D

Line 7 C

Line 8 D Quatrain Two/Stanza Two

Line 9 E

Line 10 F

Line 11 E

Line 12 F Quatrain Three/Stanza Three

Line 13 G

Line 14 G Couplet One/Stanza Four

An example, by the Bard of Avon:

Is it for fear to wet a widow's eye

That thou consumest thyself in single life?

Ah! if thou issueless shall hap to die,

The world will wail thee lie a makeless wife;

The world will be thy window and still weep

That thou no form of thee has left behind,

When every private widow well may keep

By children's eyes her husband's shape in mind.

Look, what an unthrift in the world doth spend

Shifts but his place, for still the world enjoys it;

But beauty's waste hath in the world an end,

And kept unused, the user so destroys it.

No love toward others in that bosom sits

That on himself such murderous shame commits.

My attempt "Brazen Sonnet":

To hear the sighing, moaning call

Of lovers, playing, joined in passion;

The knocking of bed-frame against the wall

Signals powerful thrusts, after a fashion.

He holds her wrists above her head,

And teases breasts and throat and ears.

With teeth and tongue, her legs bespread,

He dines upon her vulva's tears.

She turns about, takes him in hand,

And sucks him deep, her throat did fill.

His head, thrown back, neck veins do stand

As he struggles, not, his seed to spill.

When they tremble replete, in each others’ embrace

Glad, are they, who succumb to the chase.
