Our boys have been at my brothers house in California for a little over 2 weeks. It feels like forever!
They are 15 and 17 and my brother has been taking them to work at his job site. He does construction and remodeling work and he and his crew have been training and working the boys as apprentices.
I am speechless by the phone call I got this morning - The boys have been working HARD, 8 hour shifts, and they LOVE IT!!! Lol, who's kids are those and what alien has taken mine?
I am so proud of them, can't get them to pick up a dirty sock off the floor, but they are happy to do construction work? Go figure :)
I finally hit a spot were levling begins to slow down. It takes more time and pages viewed to reach the next level.
I just have to remind myself that I have gone up 13 levels since being sent to The Coven.
Patience. I know it will take me some time, but it is also irratating that the reason I was sent there in the first place is being shown special favor.
Nice. Be a jerk, get rewarded. Sounds about right for most things these days.
Tired. Mentally and emotionally tired. Feel like I am trying to keep everyone but myself happy. It sucks and doesn't work.
Not sure what I want to do about it, can't make up my mind.
We live in the Pacific Northwest, the Evergreen State. Forest, grasslands, farms and lakes.
This year is a WTH(heck) year. The month of June was the hottest recorded since 1922. The hightest recorded temp. for a single day 106. The longest heat wave on record ever. The river is a huge attraction to celebrate the end of the school year. Rafting is almost mandatory for the end of June and the month of July. This year, with almost no snow in the mountains and hardely any spring rain, the river is at an all time low. Rafting was suspended by June 22nd.
We have had 4 major fires already this summer. The one that I think was the worst was on the Olympic Penninsula. One of the last places to find tropical, old growth forest in the US. We have also had a large part of the farmlands burn. Crops and orchards that feed our state economy.
I can't imagine what the next 2 months will bring, I can only hope that fall comes early.

Too dang hot!!! But I wouldn't live anywhere else. I love Washington
I love it too. I was born in California and never thought I would leave, but I am so happy I came here and stayed.
Up another level tonight. Still making at least 1 to 1.5 levels per day.
I was trying to keep to a certain number of posting and ratings per day as part of my leveling plan. It is after 11 pm and it's still over 80 degrees. Had to work tonight, and just plain too tired to keep posting.
Night kiddies, don't let the creepies bite
