I'm popping in quickly to let you know I haven't forgotten you. If I'm not responding to your messages, it's because I'm too tired.



Why am, I tired? I got promoted at work, but that required me to switch from graveyards to days in less than 24hrs. Needless to say, I'm tired. Not only that, but I spend most of my time not at work thinking about work. I inherited a full team from a much beloved supervisor. Trying to get them back on track has not been easy. They have been testing me at every opportunity, and I hardly got any training. Sure, they loved their supervisor, but there are things that he should have been doing that he wasn't, so I get to be the big bad B!tch. *sighs* I wish I would have gotten the other supervisors team, the supervisor no one wanted, so then even I would be an improvement...

I got promoted at work. It's about time, I've been there for almost 4 years. YAY *does happy dance*. It took me a while, but thats ok, because I actually quit and came back, and I'm also one of the youngest supervisors there, so I think I've done well.

I just finished celebrating my birthday. I honestly could not have asked for a better birthday. Why? Because people actually acknowledged it was that special day of the year for me, I got to see old friends, I had a blast partying and I made some new friends. Good friends, good energy, what more could one ask for?
