I'm the kind of person that gets amazingly stressed. I get daily headaches because of it, and at times I don't even know what to do with it. I spoke to someone, and he gave me this suggestion. And it works. Better than anything I could have ever thought of.
10 white candles. Tea candles will work.
Kitchen knife.
Stress reliever incense. Yes, they do sell it.

Darken your room. Light ten white candles in a circle around you. Stand in the center.
With a kitchen knife in your hands, stretch your arms out and ask each direction (N, S, E, W) to join your circle. Face each direction as you do so.
Once this is done, sit in the center, unconsciously cross your legs indian style....then uncross them and cross them in the opposite direction.
This will keep your mind unbalanced and not as susceptible to distraction.
Close your eyes. Slowly imagine yourself sitting in the coldest place you can think of. When you're there, imagine yourself developing roots. Allow these roots to sink into the Earth and reach all the way down to the core. Once you're there, absorb the heat through the roots and into yourself. Imagine the heat represented as a bright light.
When you can feel yourself warming up, lift your arms to the sides of your body and let the light filter out, and with it, the stress and pain and darkness that had been filling the crevices of your soul. And mind.
You'll feel drained and light. Stand again, and with the knife, thank each direction for the part they played, thereby closing your circle.

Whoever else I've shared this with says it works. Thought I'd share it as well.
