i love practicing with the girls but damn. why do they feel the need to share their germs????



the audition this past saturday went very well. they had next to no suggestions because they loved what we could do. it's nice to hear that coming from them. the guys wife has been a dancer for years so she knows what she's talking about. i personally got a comment from the husband (nice ego boost of course). he said that he was watching me at one point and he doesn't remember the move that well but he remembers that it a simple move....he said that i carried it off with such grace and emotion that it was a joy just watching. overall, they were both very pleased and honored that we were taking such an interest in their culture and they have a very good feeling that we'll make it in just fine and cant' wait to see us perform.



i could eat up that stuff everyday. oh yeah.

we are actually making a short tv appearance this friday on channel 12, midday show. 11am and 12. we are all very excited as this could do wonderful things for our troupe locally. we also recieved an email from Anil who is heading up dance competition. he personally invited us to audition. problem was that the dates for autditioning meant that at that time half our troupe was going to be gone. not only did he reschedule for us, this weekend, he is also coming to *our* studio so we can show him what we can do. he said that he's already heard many good things about us and how he can't wait to see what we're all about. maybe this troupe will finally start to take off locally. it's small but it's a place to start!
