The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

So, I have these wacky dream that take me to far off places. mostly all of them are different worlds and if they have any hint of being in this dimension, then the world is always distorted some how.



Usually, my dreams are so far away from reality, that i know it has to be a dream, even if it feels the same as being awake. There was this one instance, however, where my dreams took me to my own reality, scaring me shitless.



It was my only reaccuring dream. My dreams are always different, and this one started out very much like the rest. It took me to a different world that was in it's Mideval stages of devlopment. I entered it in the middle of a battle as a Knight. As I was taking down my foes on by one, i somehow ended up cornered by a group of deadly men cloaked in black.



I was stabbed and thrown into a nearby lake. As I floated to the bottom of the lake, I witnessed a horrific scene play out before me amid the streams of blood that were flowing from my chest.



It was a victory celebration for the win of the black cloated men. I'm guessing I was the last obsticale in their way of winning the war. Anyway, the dragged three teenage girls, all presummably virgin, and tied each to a cross. Now, i'm none to religious and I'd never before had a dream where such acts were ever committed, but the three virgins were crucified as i sunk deeper into the water. I could hear their cries of anguist as I faded into black.



Then I woke up in my room. This is where my dream took on a certain form of reality. I could have sworn I was awake. I even sat up to look for my near by water to take a drink, but then a hear a malicious voice from somewhere in my room. My room was mostly dark, so I couldn't see anything but shadows, but I heard a distict women's voice laughing at me from somewhere in my room and it was getting closer.



I can't remember excatly what she said next, but suddenly the voice was in my ear and I was being suffocated by my blanket. An immense pressure formed on my chest, as if the owner to the voice was sitting attop me and trying to strangle me. I was sure I was being possessed by a demon and in an act of panic I was about to call out to god for help but instead my hand shot out in front of me and grabbed the being by what I perceived as the throat.



it laughed histerically the moment my hand touched it and suddenly it let go of it's hold. i'm assuming I woke up then, though i don't remember waking up at all. It felt like I'd been awake all along and even more so because my heart was still racing and I could still feel that pressure. I couldn't even move until the pressure lifted and when it did was was all at once.



I figured it was just the paralisis you sometimes get from just waking up from REM sleep, but that was the realest dream I've ever had. Now, I mentioned it was a reocuring dream. I did, in fact, happen a second time. it started the exact same way, with me being a dying Knight witnessing a crucification of three young girls as I floated to the depths of a lake, but when it hit my reality it didn't show the same scene as before.



i had moved my room around and had different positions of the furniture and so the dream had molded itself to the new settings. I heard the same malicious voice, but for some reason I was ready for it. When it came to suffocate me, I immediatly tried to kill it. It laughed in a low, amused voice and immediatly went away. I awoke the same way before, feeling as if I'd been away the whole time.



I have yet to have that dream again, but I feel as if I haven't seen the last of it. To whoever has taken the time to read this, what do you make of it? Should I be concerned about my mental state? It's quite possible I could be developing something like schizophrenia.......
