The Lovely Holiday Season

Whatever you believe in during this Holiday Season, remember this: there are good people out there in the world with the best of hearts. This is the time they shine the brightest, but they are there in your life all year long. This year has brought many a changes for my family, my friends, and even people I don't know so well. Whether they've been good or bad, change is actually an awesome motivator for things to come.

This year has also brought a few losses; losses that I've not been able to speak of until now. I have grieved, in my own way, for friends of the family that have passed on, and I will remember good times that I've had with them as long as I am able. Others, one in particular, had been taken way too soon because of circumstances out of her control…and an asshole that deserves every milligram of justice that is to be administered, hopefully in the near future.

*Ahem* Anyway, that's enough of the sappy shit. Happy Holidays dammit, and enjoy all the good stuff while every one is "in the spirit"!!!!

Finally Feeling Productive Once More

I had nearly forgotten how much pleasure/pain it can be to edit photos I've taken...especially when there's over 300 to review. But, for my first time ever using Lightroom; I think I'm getting the hang of it! Now....to stretch my back before I end up pulling something I'll need later...

It feels semi-weird to have been gone from this place for the last 2 years. I come back now, full-fledged graduate complete with a bachelor's degree and I have moved half way across the country to start a new chapter in this ever-changing life. Such has been my thoughts for the day...see ya around!
