Did anyone notice the irony that laid between the lines of "Lost's" Series Finale? Remove the stone (of light) from the Island's center and sink the Island, put the stone back, keep the Island afloat. It can literally be compared to a situation "circling the drain" and saving it by "plugging" the drain back up. Jus sayin' ;)

It’s been about a week and some change since that minor surgery. I gotta say, the day went flawlessly… Actually, it was pretty damn funny. But I think most of that was primarily me and my usual way of handling things: smart ass comments and wit-like-charm antics. Coming out of sedation was fun, too. Seeing my leg look like it had a sudden attack of anaphylactic shock, then realizing it was jus wrapped really really really well. Fortunately, I didn’t have to wait very long before Christy could take me home. And that’s where I’ve been aside from a couple of outings and going back to the doc’s last week to get unwrapped. Got the surgery report while we were at it and found out they didn’t do anything to my meniscus. Apparently it was fine, but they did take out this thing called a placid band. Doesn’t really feel all that different yet. I start p.t. tomorrow though, and get my stitches out a couple hours after that. YAY!!!!



Either way, no matter what they did, I have had a Benny Officer with the VA tell me that it could incredibly help my chances for a better disability rating….which means better care all around. So here’s hopin!!!!!

I will be having a minor surgery tomorrow on my knee due to that accident back in Feb. It's to repair/remove a torn meniscus, so it's not really big enough to worry about. Jus think good thoughts for me, cus I won't be able to for a little while lol.
