Sweet, crisp, real.
I've been drenched, skewered and defeated. Cornered into writing because it's a nagging feeling that you don't often associate with good - good anything really.
There's a little push and pull, a hey-you, and then a song comes to mind and I just can't stop.
Jazz filters into the background, seeps through to the foreground and settles again until you find yourself in a place that feels calm and right.
There's a picture I'd like to paint with words but forcing anything to form will make it opaque and disjointed.
A little bit of Art influences more.

Sometimes you just have to swallow and smile.
There's nothing like waking up on the wrong side of the bed - only to realize you never opened your eyes in the first place.
A bitter taste lingers in the air and I have to say "fuck it". Everything happens because it happens. You either fall with the rest of the dregs or keep marching on until you die - a small frail thing, broken but somehow still satisfied.
People are a curious lot.
Observation of the day: I'm alive, that's all there is to it. For now.
That extra bit of milk in my tea was a bit much today.
