EEEK! HELP! My cat brought home fleas, we tried the Raid fogging, used 3, flea bath and a collar he managed to get off. I heard that Borax on the carpet works but we just might do the fogging again. They are worse than ever and I'm going insane!

Any suggestions?

I don't know...living in 'Mayberry' is better than where I live. Note a few of the top stories I get from my local news:

-missing nurse presumed dead

-two young men shot and left dead in street, following a previous murder in the same area the night before. Authorities think it may all be gang-related

-elderly man left dead on the street after a hit and run

-trail rapist strikes again

I could go on and on.

YIKES. I see your point. We have pretty much zilch for crime of any kind here.

LOL my local paper is even less interesting, obituaries and what not are the biggest stories here. Still...its not all bad - no crime to speak of so I amn't complaining.

Kinda bummed cuz I missed out on Justins first piano recital of which I wasn't real happy with my ex-husbands wife since she didn't let me know about it. But she did get on the phone and apologized to me, saying they themselves found out about it last minute, not so sure about that but I'll take it at face value. I guess it was fairly informal. My ex didn't have a clue, big surprise that is. On the flipside, Katy is on her way at this very moment to look at a really nice piano for Justin that will go in my house, they are paying for it thank goodness and for the movers fee as well. I'm happy for Justin as he spends half his time here and doesn't get to practice as much as he should. I say that now....lol.

Having them send over a piano at their expense sounds really cool, and good for Justin. However! can you get hold of his piano teacher or wherever he goes and ask them to contact YOU next time there is a recital? So you won't be left out? Even if it was informal, it was a first, and parents should be kept informed of these things.

Sounds great that he will be able to play at your house..you may have to get ear plugs if he plays like I play a guitar!
