My allergies are going ballistic what with all the forest fires around here. I know it's no different than any other year here, it comes with living where I do. But it's really sad to see all the same. Forests being demolished and all the animals that get killed or are displaced. :(

It's been a long day and I have a gargantuan headache. Menopause I hate you. Go away already.

I can't vent about this outside of VR so I'm going to let it out here. I'm angry, really angry. Even though I know parts of it are very valid. I had made plans with one of my close friends to take my son and her grandson on a camping trip with us tomorrow and the next day. The equipment was already in place we just pretty much had to show up. The boys were REALLY excited, 4-wheeling, swimming, fishing and squirrel shooting. I had to talk to his dad to get an ok to miss his Karate classes which cost a small fortune along with his piano lessons. This was put in place 2 weeks ago.



My friend went camping with her husband for 5 days got back last night. I call her to see what I need to bring. She acts like she doesn't know what I am talking about. She is tired from the weekend and her feet are swollen and sore after all that hiking etc...she has a foot boot on one of her feet, this is the part I understand. She is tired and in pain. And.....she has her grandkids this weekend and plans to go camping again this weekend. Needs to rest up.



WTF!!!! WE made plans. I went out of my way to help make it happen, rescheduling all kinds of shit. Most importantly my son was so excited. I don't even want to tell him tonight :(

That really is a major headache especially when the kids are getting a bad deal. I hope you still get to use the time together doing fun and positive stuff. This should be a lesson learnt on relying on anyone for your own fun.

Pinja is still sleeping and I'm wide awake. He can sleep through anything, I however cannot. So when the neighbors across the road decided to have a yard sale at the crack o' dawn grumpy ass here was forced to get up. They park in front of our carport, our house, on the side of our house where the shop and boats are (it's a good size parking area). Who cares if anybody lives here right?!

Yesterday my best friend and I went on a tube floating trip down the Snake River. We had a double tube for two with a built in cooler in the center. We had such a blast! The scenery was just beautiful, we hit the beach and went swimming., so relaxing. Next time though we are going to bring paddles, my arms feel like they are going to fall off lol! It's been a great summer this year :)

That is so much fun. A few years ago a few of my friends and me went tubing near Nantahala rapids we came to a place where the water was calm decided to burn one . One of my friends thought he would blow his tube bigger than the rest of us hell it was so big you could almost see inside it, anyway we lit this big monster joint and about the time my friend with the big tube took a toke the fire hit a seed and bam my friend was gone . He finally surfaced with no tube . he had to ride double with this chick that totally disliked him and they argued the entire trip down the rapids . it was such an awesome day . so many laughs

Ugggh, it's triple digits here and we only have a tiny air conditioner in the main bedroom, just running fans in the rest of the house. She can afford to go to Hawaii this year (at least my son gets to go) but not keep her rental up to par it seems. If she doesn't put in a new system here by Fall like she has been saying she is for the last 4 yrs then I'm oughta here. It's a dinosaur. We boil in summer and freeze in the winter, my utility bills are outrageous. Grrrr.
