I only could hide

To be able to walk

the night in plain

sight and not prevoke

a sense of fright



To live my life and

live it free

without causing

someone else's misery



To be able to rest

with a sense of peace

and clarity in all

sense of reality



To have it where the

pain no longer makes

me scream in this

never ending dream



Where people no longer

hide in fear only cause

of the feeling that

I might be near



Instead I'm left with

dread of seeing

those that soon will
