I think I may have found a way

to keep peace within my mind

though it seems at times that

my inner voices aren't so kind



All I needed was a break

from my surroundings and

reality at the time

it's not some made up line

but you knew that

you're the only one who didn't

treat my silence as if it was

a capitol crime



you excepted me for being me

never once did you me feel

as if I was number three

when I'm with you

I feel free to be me



You never once pushed me aside

like I was a forgotten outcast

you never made me feel as if I

had to ask how long will this feeling

last



I'm grateful to have you in my life

you are the best part of my day

in every way, with you in my life

there is no inner strife



I enjoy the times when you are here

I just wish that I could hold you near

you make everything seem so clear

I just wish you were here



You truly are a dream come true

you make everything feel fresh and new

you are the only one that I want to see
