So far away from home. I like it up here in Maine though. Everything is so small... you can drive hours through snow to see nothing but snow and trees.
The stars are BEAUTIFUL. I've never seen so many in my life. I thought I've been secluded in Iowa and certain places I've been to. No. This is amazing.
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
I'm like 15 minutes from Canada and it was so weird to me to know I drove all the way up I 95.
I can't wait to experience more. I hope to see a moose. I wanted to fight one off in my childhood Alaska but I don't remember.
Love it here. People treasure other's company.
A few more days until fiancee, dog, and I take a long road trip from here-NC- to his hometown in Maine. I haven't been that far north on the eastern coast, and haven't traveled in a year so I'm excited.
I will be meeting his family and look forward to it, especially after hearing so much about them and speaking to a few of them.
Also finally getting a new tattoo from a friend of his... I can't wait. I need this.
