The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

This is a post I placed in my House and I just wanted to share it here for those members who might read my journal but never play in the house forums (yes I know you are there) :)



I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell all of the members of this house just how much I appreciate you. Even with life taking us away and sometimes bringing us back we carry on having fun.



I want to thank you all for keeping me coming back here no matter how down or much I have to do elsewhere.



You folks are full of life, fun, jokes and just common compassion that is so lacking these days.



I also appreciate that you folks are not drama lamas or into all the muck racking and administration bashing that is so prevalent of late.



None of the admins are always right, we are just humans but we do try to be fair and honest in our dealings with members of VampireRave.



I really just wanted you all to know how much I do love coming into this house and listening to your ups, downs and just plain old craziness. You all Rock!

Night before last I was sitting in the living room playing on VR when my sister yells that the pastor's wife was stopping by.... okay that's new.



Seems my niece has been so busy with school and band she has missed several of the youth girls meeting and the woman was bringing by the new lesson book for her as well as checking on my sister and her kids since they've missed a few Sundays. *not my fault I swear* Sickness or lazy on their parts, which is exactly what my sister told her when she asked.



Everything was cool then she turns to me and says

"Now Connie we need to get you to come too"



I just smiled politely and said very firmly "No thank you." She was stunned for just a moment but handled it very well with "all right then"



My sister has laughed every time she looks at me since then saying I sounded just like a cop when I answered her and could just as well have been saying "here's your speeding ticket"!



I didn't think I was that bad!
