If I speak a thousand words will I blind you to the truth.
I do so not to appear intelligent for that has no importance.
Much better to have good sense and a sense of humor.
But to say so much yet say nothing is my manner of defense.
While you drown in all the nonsense you will not hear the important things that are left unsaid.
I will speak of colors and music and monsters and more and yet you will not hear of the pain I feel.
Never know of the loneliness that haunts my life.
The dark and horrible things I know and understand.
These are mine and like a miser I will hoard them close.
Never to share, I shall be so selfish.
You make think me insane to talk so very much but it's not the words spoken but the ones you keep back that truly tell the tale.
