So my good friend Fizbop inspired me to get back into 3D Studio Max after seeing some of the stuff he's been working on at school and alikes. :]
So as I am writing this I am installing 3D Studio Max 2010.
So I just got back into WoW again yesterday aftertoon.
Been on hiatus for a few months now.
Anyways, I decide to head over to Orgrimmar this morning to do a few things, and this is what I'm confronted with.
This is a close up for all the corpses that were there.
And then, I zoom out to check the extent of how many there are...
Oh, you sneaky little fuckers...
I detest gold spammers with a passion.
So, seems I've succumb and gone back to WoW.
I think it's mostly because I missed all my guildies so much.
But yeah, anyway. No real point to this entry.
So here's some pictures to show how sad and anti-social I am.
3 of the rarest flying Proto-drake mounts in the entire game, and I have them all. =/
Oh, and my Mechano-hog. Which cost me 15,500gp.
My poor, poor fake money bank account. :(
This is my Red Proto-Drake. Obtained via the "Glory of the Hero" Achievement in the game. Alot of hard work for this one.
This is the Green Proto-Drake. Obtained via "Mysterious Egg" which has a 7day (real time) timer before you can open it. In other words, I have a 1 in 100 chance of getting it ever 7days.
Took along time. =s
This is my Blue Proto-Drake. Obtained from Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle.
Boss has a 0.02% chance of dropping this mount according to Wowhead.com.
And lastly. My Mechano-hog. Requires a 475 Engineer to craft if I recall. Cost me roughly 15,000 gold to buy.
But let's face it. You can't put a price on awesomeness. :P
This is quite possibly the coolest news I've heard all day.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time RE-SHELLED!
Yes! The game I once sat playing all day on the old SNES is being revamped with an entire overhaul.
Even brings in a new element being that it's now on a full 3D plain of existence.
I fondly remember having this game and pulling every possible excuse to miss school I could.
I use to fill my mouth with water, run into the bathroom slam the door and make unholy noises as to simulate throwing up.
Bit of sickly charm, dreary eyes and slurred speech I was set for another day of TMNT awesomness. ^_^
So yeah, I'm well excited to hear about this.
Not to mention, from what I've seen is they have simply stuck with remaking the engine. Everything else is as is from the original!
Granted, the problem in this situation is that evidently, systems have come along way since those days. So alot more complex mechanics can be put into games. But this being a remake and nothing more, it's going to lose alot of playability for some people.
For me, it's just a bit of reminiscing. :]
