This is kind of a pointless entry... again...
But hell, I'm doing it because I can.
So anyway.
Bought a second graphics card the other day to run dual GeForce 9800GT's via SLI.
I gleefully installed the second card, bridged the 2 GPU's and fired it up.
Everything was peachy, SLI enabled, running perfectly.
Not 10mins later in-game, the computer cold shut-down.
I probably should have looked into the power demands first. :P
So I decided to get a new powersupply.
And while looking into my computer, I notice a dreaded swollen capacitor on my mainboard. :(
It's like cancer for computers.
Cost like $1.50 to have them replaced, but my mainboard is multi-layered, thus increasing the risk that they would just fry it anyway.
So, I bought a new board. CPU, PSU and case instead.
750watt power-supply to run everything
Official Nvidia N-Force EVGA SLI mainboard with a S775 chipset.
And an intel quad core S775 chip.
Oh, and an Antec CM Storm gaming case. (look down)
