Really. I just want this year to be over and done with.



I just can't catch a break.



My back went out.... again.



This time was less painful but now I have almost complete numbness in my foot. It makes walking a pain and stairs a royal bitch to accomplish.



I ended up in the ER because of it.



I was given a nice shot of Toradol and a few days off of work....which I couldn't really afford to take.... but seeing as my job is rather physical and I work alone.... It was necessary.



I was told it could be one of three things:



Option 1: The steroid epidural is starting to wear off. It hasn't worn off completely but it's working on it.



Option 2: I'm having a back spasm but the shot is still working which is why I don't feel pain. just numbness.



or Option 3: The disc rupture in my back is much much worse now but the shot is still working, hence no pain.





I have an appointment with a spinal surgeon at the end of November (Yeah... that was the earliest they could get me in) and hopefully we can get this shit taken care of...



Back surgery is apparently now imminent :(
