Last night was darker than normal. It felt like a type of warning, one that surrounded you. I was walking home from my school library. It is not a far walk, but three miles in the dark can seem like an eternity. I was taking the shortcut that took me through the cemetery. As i entered the gates, I felt that someone was following me. It was not a dangerous feeling, but it was one that I could not shake. I reached to the fountain in the middle, and that is when I saw him. There was this guy, standing there glaring at me. He was beautiful, but there was something frightening about him. I watched him for a few minutes, and it seemed like he was just as frightened as I was. He opened his mouth like he was starting to say something and dropped his hand. Instead he took a step towards me. I froze, a chill running down my spine. I quickly turned around and ran. I was more worried about getting out of the cemetery, so I didnt see the car coming around the corner. Just as the car was about to hit me, something flew at me and pushed me away. I looked behind me, but no one or nothing was there. I continued to run all the way. I finally made it to my door, and locked it tight. Sitting there, staring out the window. The guy was standing there looking directly at me. My heart stopped. He finally broke my gaze and turned around. He vanished in to the night. I vanished in to a soundless sleep.
