The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Good Evening Everyone:

It seems like a lifetime since I have written here, and my laptop still is not up to par, but for now it is working enough for me to come online and make an entry.
First, I cannot believe how many ads that pop up on this site! I am a Premium Member, but apparently, that doesn't matter. The air grows colder each day here, and with it the promise that winter is on the way. I am one of those people that at the first sight of a snowflake I am jumping for joy! :) No, I haven't lost my mind...lol. I just find it beautiful during a snowstorm. It calms my soul. The leaves are changing and the time for jumpers and anaraks are here folks! It is also time for me personally to assess the winter wardrobe, polish my winter boots, fluff my hats, scarves and gloves. I see all you men rolling your eyes, but I change with the season of course. It starts a different mindset for me. One filled with home baked goods, candles, and a roaring fire in my fireplaces. Finally I live in an 18th century Victorian that I affectionately call my "Harry Potter House". It is complete with coffin domers and brass letter boxes and an enormous staircase that I love. Slowly I have made my home a proper Vampire home with tapestries and candles, oil lamps and candelabras. In the servants quarters there are back alley ways and stairs that lead to the laundry and basement, complete with a tunnel that leads all the way to the ocean! You see, this home was part of the coalition. It was used to house people born to slavery and hidden in the tunnels until they were brought to safety by the light of the moon to sail away from all this strife. For saftey this tunnel has been bricked off, but it still remains today. It is complete with three spirits of which I have and will continue to respect and honor every day. For security reasons I will not divulge where but it is safe to say that I live in a place steeped with history and it beings me great comfort to live here. It has not been an easy road. Just as most have, I have sacrificed, struggled and determined myself to make it. I have not been on here as I have endured much strife in my life, but as many of you know, I am not one to throw in the towel. My message is this: Do not ever give up on your dreams, and never ever let anyone take your power away. Even if you work day in and day out, always bear in mind that it is one step closer to your dreams! Affirm your dreams by writing them down on a piece of parchment. Carry them with you in your wallet and look at them each and every day. Staying focused is the entire battle and it will help to keep you on your path to achieveing them. My life is far from perfect, but I can honestly look back and see how far I have come. This is the very thing that drives me forward each day. Release and get rid of all those who bring you down, affect you negatively and do not serve your greater good. No matter what it costs you-never change who you are for someone or something else! Life is short enough already and giving yourself away is the worse disservice you can do for yourself. I am not saying to be selfish, but merely compromise on both sides and never give up your dreams! Time is something that cannot be recovered. Even in Magick, it is nothing to play with! Tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. Stay in touch with the people who matter. Share your heart and trust with only those who are worthy. Stay in the veil. Follow the Black Veil for the good of others. There is a reason they exist. Stay away from posers. They suck out your energy only to waste it. Remember who you are and where from whence you came. Bloodlines tell alot about yourself.
"To Thine Own Self be True!" Lastly, never look back. Learn from what you have endured and promise yourself no matter how small it is that you have learned and it will never happen again. I am not saying I am guilty of anything, and no, I am not in trouble or have a criminal record...lol. But I do know of people who have and they have lost everything including themselves. Karma always delivers...
